baby love

Thanks a ton for all of the kind words over the past few posts. You guys really have no idea how much it means to see all of your thoughts and prayers in my little comment box. I am still a bit bruised and sore and swollen from the removal of my teeth (who has ever heard of a compression fracture in a tooth anyway). They took one on the top of the right side and the bottom of the left. I can effectively chew nothing. Sigh. So what have I been doing to ease the stress. Why sewing of course. And what better to sew than baby quilts for one of my favorite families. They will have 3 little gals 2 and under in under two weeks now! I surely don't know how she does it, but she is awesome! Its dark and cloudy and rainy here, so more sewing will likely be on tap for the weekend. Have a good one!

Yikes on the teeth (which are amazingly fragile actually!).

Hope you feel better soon!

I had all four wisdom teeth out last year. Josh asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day and I said "a cheese omelet". That year it was the best present I could have gotten.

: )

Wow! Sounds like you've been through a lot lately. I'm sure those little ones will love the quilts. I adore the Dick & Jane fabrics.

Isn't it wonderful that when we're concentrating on doing something nice for others it takes our minds off our own problems. Your quilts are lovely.

I'm guessing a lot of milkshakes for now? I am so sorry!!

At least you have ways to keep busy.

Keep up the crafty stuff...who knows what you might come up with while on pain meds. HA!!

I agree with "mary"- the quilts are AWESOME in person. Thank you so, so, so, so, much for these wonderful and classic gifts. I cherish them- even though they aren't technically mine. And I must confess, I do steal them when they aren't in use. They smell nice and fresh and are great to snuggle up with- especially on these cloudy fall days.

Sorry about those darn teeth. You know I'm thinking of you all the time. PLEASE let me know what I can do for you!!!

I had the steel rod for my implant inserted into my jawbone on Friday. At least I can still eat, but I lost a whole day because of the sedative. I slept eight hours!

The quilts are lovely!

I hope you're completely healed soon! It's so miserable when your mouth hurts, and you can't eat! I love that you got to sew anyway. It is very therapeutic, and I'm so glad you found the energy to get some projects done! Feel better!
